Create and Design Your Daruma with Cristina Carrero

In the workshop, we will learn what a daruma is, its history, and the meaning behind these figures and their purposes.

Each participant will be able to create their own daruma by following Cristina Carrero’s work process step-by-step. We will start with a pre-prepared, blank figure, which each person will paint and personalize according to their chosen purpose.

The workshop is aimed at anyone interested in Japanese culture. No drawing or painting skills are required: it is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience, with a step-by-step guided process and reference images.

The idea is to spend a calm time, learn and enjoy doing it yourself, and finish the workshop with a unique daruma linked to each person’s purpose.

The workshop will take place on October 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in Room 2 of Musubu Barcelona.

Aimed at participants over 18 years old, with a capacity of 7 places.
