EXHIBITION

Exhibition “The Mark of Fire — Kujiragama: First Firing”

This exhibition brings together a selection of pieces from the first firing of Kujiragama, the Anagama kiln at Can Brull, in the Montseny Natural Park.

Built and driven by Taiga Mori, Frank Richter, and Magali Kivatinetz, Kujiragama was born as a collective project around fire, ceramics, and the exchange of knowledge. The exhibition brings together works by the three of them, along with pieces by other guest artists who took part in this first firing.

For 84 hours, fire, ash, temperature, and time transformed each piece in a one-of-a-kind way. The mark of the fire celebrates that dialogue between the artist’s intention and what only the kiln can decide.
