Llar de Yukiko. Tsutsumu: kinchaku and travel jewelry case workshop
Kinchaku and travel jewelry case workshop to launch Llar de Yukiko: three Thursdays in November to sew Japanese pieces for everyday use.
This module is part of the mottainai theme, a Japanese word expressing the regret of wasting things. We will work on the concept of tsutsumu (to wrap/contain) and make the most of the fabric we have.
- November 12: kinchaku, a reversible bag made with recycled material and minimal new fabric
- November 19 and 26: kainokuchi, a travel jewelry case (in two sessions)
What to bring
Scissors, needles, thread, basic sewing tools, and fabric scraps. Yukiko provides the rest of the materials.
