Opening “The Footprint of Fire — Kujiragama: First Firing”

We invite you to the opening of “The Mark of Fire — Kujiragama: First Firing,” the exhibition bringing together pieces born from the first firing of the Anagama kiln built in Can Brull, Montseny.

During the event we’ll have the special presence of Taiga Mori, Bizen ceramist and designer of Kujiragama, who will share firsthand the kiln construction process, the firing experience, and the meaning of this Japanese ceramic tradition passed down through generations in his family.

A unique opportunity to discover up close the dialogue between fire, ceramics, and the community that gave birth to these one-of-a-kind pieces.
