INAUGURACION

Opening of the Four Perspectives exhibition

We are celebrating the opening of the Four Perspectives Exhibition, a project that presents the daily life of two distant cultures (Japanese and Catalan) through food, clothing, and housing.

It is an opportunity to discover the exhibition before anyone else and share the experience with the creators and collaborators of the project. Everyone is welcome; we invite you to come and join us for this event.

About the exhibition

Through food, clothing, and housing, we present the daily life of two distant cultures: Japanese and Catalan.

Taking small daily differences as a starting point—such as ways of cooking or dressing—we propose a reflection on the values and ways of thinking unique to each culture.

This exhibition is born from a dialogue between people from different backgrounds—from Catalonia, other regions of Spain, and Japan—and is designed to be enjoyed by both children and adults.

We are opening the “Dagashi BAR”

On the opening day, we will open the “Dagashi BAR,” where we will offer wine and dagashi, traditional Japanese snacks.

Dagashi are small, affordable sweets that have been enjoyed in Japan for generations. Although originally intended for children, for adults they often represent a taste full of nostalgia. They are made with simple ingredients like sugar, corn, or rice, and come in many varieties, including candies and cookies.

Beyond the taste, they stand out for their fun packaging and often include games, raffles, or small gifts—elements that make choosing and sharing part of the experience as well.

In Japan, it is common to enjoy these dagashi with a drink in spaces known as “Dagashi BARs.”
