CLASE
Aikishintaiso classes with Yukyko Takahashi
Ai (harmony), Ki (energy), Shin (spirit), and Taiso (body movement) are the principles that give Aikishintaiso its name—a Japanese body practice that combines gentle movements, breathing techniques, and postural awareness to improve physical and mental balance.
Inspired by martial arts principles and traditional bodywork, this discipline helps release accumulated tensions—both physical and emotional—and correct postures that may reflect stress or unhealthy habits.
While it is not a therapy, it works as a preventive tool to stop tensions from leading to major problems. Its approach is practical: working the body to gain mobility, reduce anxiety, and improve the connection between mind and movement. It requires consistency and attention, but the results—more energy, better posture, and greater overall well-being—are accessible to anyone willing to dedicate time and care.
Session requirements:
- Bring comfortable clothes.
- Practice is done barefoot.
- Bring a yoga or Pilates mat.
- Anyone who has a gi (Aikido gi or keiko gi) can bring it.
